my story
Chaim Loeb
Fit Yid Founder & Wellness Coach at The Jewish Man
I’m Chaim Loeb, founder of Fit Yid Academy, and I coach ambitious Jewish men who carry big personal and professional responsibilities. My work is about helping them create lasting change in their health—change that sticks and becomes part of who they are.
I’m the youngest of seven siblings five girls and one brother and from a young age, sports were my world. I don’t remember playing much with toys; I always had a ball in my hand. Athletics was my first love, but it was fitness training that truly captured my passion. Strength and endurance training made me feel energized and alive in a way nothing else did.
In my early twenties, I struggled with my relationship to health. I questioned whether my focus was extreme or unhealthy. Without the right mindset, I spiraled into unhealthy habits—partying, drinking, and eating without care.
Eventually, I decided enough was enough. I moved from New York to Arizona, where I had siblings living, to reset my life. My brother and I started working out together every morning at 6 a.m., and my sister, a personal trainer with a small studio, helped me rebuild my health from the ground up.
But it wasn’t just workouts. It was sleeping enough, reading the right books, eating supportive foods, and staying hydrated. Through this process, I began to understand what it means to live intentionally—especially when it comes to health.
That’s when I knew Fit Yid Academy needed to be built. I studied to become certified in fitness training and nutrition coaching, overcoming my own struggles with school along the way.
Today, Fit Yid is on its mission to guide Jewish men to live their healthiest lives, creating sustainable habits that support them physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Clients experience real, measurable progress—whether that’s going from beginner-level push-ups into the double digits, improving lab numbers, or building energy and resilience. But this work is about more than metrics. It’s about embodying health—making it a lived experience that supports every part of a man’s life.
I’m proud to be connected with The Jewish Man community because we share a commitment to helping men grow in all areas of life—not just physically, but emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. Together, we’re creating a space where men can step fully into their strength, purpose, and wholeness.
